CPA firm acquires area accounting, consulting company

Plush Smith has provided tax, financial reporting and consulting services to individuals, fiduciaries, commercial businesses and other organizations since 2011.

SARASOTA — CPA firm Mauldin & Jenkins has acquired Sarasota-based accounting and consulting firm Plush Smith PA.

The acquisition increases Mauldin & Jenkins’ office locations to nine across the Southeast, according to a press release. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
