TAMPA — Green Market Cafe, a 10-year-old restaurant group based in Tampa, is set to open a new location later this month in Trinity and seeks a franchisee to operate it.

Owned by Andrew Koumi, the company has four fast-casual restaurants in the Tampa Bay region. They serve a menu consisting of freshly made salads, bowls, wraps and sandwiches. Green Market Cafe also operates a popular corporate catering service, according to a press release.

“Once we open the Trinity location in October, we plan to put it on the market as a franchise,” Koumi states in the release. “We consider it a highly viable opportunity.”

Koumi, the release states, has partnered on a franchising initiative — Green Market Cafe Franchise Development Group — with another successful local restaurateur, Nick Vojnovic, the president and majority partner of Little Greek Franchise Development LLC.

“We are currently starting our expansion, including a future location in Seminole,” Koumi states in the release. “We also have our eyes set on opening four additional locations in the Tampa Bay area during 2021 — this would double our presence in this region.”

Under Vojnovic’s leadership, the release states, Little Greek Franchise Development has grown to include 41 locations — soon to be 44 — in Florida, Texas, Arkansas, Kentucky, Ohio and Illinois.
