College president announces retirement

New College will create a search committee to help select O’Shea’s replacement and hire a search firm to lead the recruiting process.

SARASOTA — New College of Florida President Donal O’Shea will step down from his position at the end of the academic year on June 30, 2021.

O’Shea has served in the leadership role since 2012, according to an article in the Sarasota Observer, a sister paper of the Business Observer.
