Biggest WFH challenge: I don’t think working from home was nearly as productive for myself or my employees than being in our real estate office.
Most important lesson you've learned in the shutdown: To be prepared to manage workplace anxiety and client expectations.
Books, articles, TV shows, podcasts and/or audiobooks you’ve focused on: I focused on not listening to the media and getting my facts from health organizations. I didn’t have time for audio books but stayed focused on steering the ship through these turbulent times.
How far out into the future are you looking? We are looking at today through the next six months, watching and monitoring all aspects of the financial and real estate markets to make the best decisions for our clients, our partners and ourselves.
How do you maintain your spirit/morale? How do you keep the team motivated? Keeping the company in business and our employees employed and sharing jokes on our virtual calls.
Exercise or stress relief have you’ve turned to during the crisis: Enjoyed outdoor activities including kayaking. Drank more wine.
Last trip out of the house: I didn’t spend a lot of time in the house. I was either outside or in our mostly vacant office as our employees worked from home virtually.
What are you most looking forward to post-lockdown/pandemic? Getting back to business as usual and managing our company back to successful operations.
