FORT MYERS — A retirement rental community in Fort Myers that offers independent, assisted living and memory care apartments hired a new director of assisted living and memory care.
Amavida named Catherine Cruikshank-Eberle to the position, who will oversee the Vistas and Meadows, Amavida’s assisted living and memory care divisions, according to a news release.
“Amavida understands the specialized care and attention our assisted living and memory care residents deserve,” says Colin Marshall, president of Quadrum Senior Living Management, the real estate development, investment and management firm that developed Amavida, in a statement. “Catherine shares our dedication to providing a vibrant program and unparalleled service for both our assisted living and memory care residents, and their families, through specially-designed support groups, educational programs and activities.”
The release says Cruikshank-Eberle has more than two decades of experience in the fields of assisted living and dementia. Previously, Cruikshank-Eberle was director of education for the Alzheimer’s Association, Florida Gulf Coast Chapter, where she also served as regional program director and program specialist for Lee and Collier counties.
Amavida offers 300 independent living cottages and apartments, 125 assisted living and 34 memory care apartments in Fort Myers.
