Restaurant leader dashes ahead on dinner delivery

Bloomin’ Brands expands ways to reach customers with delivery options.

Bloomin’ Brands — the Tampa-based company that owns restaurant chains Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba's Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill and Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar — recently signed a partnership with DoorDash, a privately owned tech company that offers on-demand, door-to-delivery for some 300,000 restaurants in 4,000 cities across the U.S. and Canada.

According to a press release, DoorDash had already been handling delivery for the Bonefish Grill brand. The new agreement with Bloomin’ will see the San Francisco-based firm add 670 Outback Steakhouse restaurants to its clientele.
