Fast-growing pet care chain debuts in region

Jacksonville-based Pet Paradise has locations in Naples and Wesley Chapel, among others in Florida.

Pet Paradise has more than 40 locations in operation or under development in nine states.

LAKEWOOD RANCH — Pet Paradise, a Jacksonville-based pet service provider, with everything from boarding and day camp to grooming and veterinary services, has announced plans to open its first location in the Sarasota-Manatee region.

The new location, 10411 Portal Crossing, is in Lakewood Ranch, off of State Road 64 and east of Interstate 75, according to a statement. It’s scheduled to open in July. Pet Paradise’s other locations on Florida’s west coast are in Naples and Wesley Chapel.
