WEST VILLAGES — The master-planned community of West Villages Florida in south Sarasota County saw a 8.8% increase in year-over-year sales growth from February 2018 to February 2019.

In February 2018, it had 114 net sales. This year, West Villages had 124 net home sales in February, according to a press release. More than 2,000 people visited the West Villages sales centers in February.

A new neighborhood, Boca Royale Golf & Country Club, has also joined the West Villages Marketing Association. It is the eighth West Villages Florida neighborhood. The 1,000-acre semi-private club by Neal Communities has homes ranging from 1,600 to 3,200 square feet. Two new phases are already experiencing steady sales, a statement says.

“The new and upcoming shopping and entertainment options are adding to the already great lifestyle in West Villages Florida,” says West Villages Florida President Paul Erhardt in a statement. “As the Atlanta Braves spring training facility opens, the West Villages Marketplace nears completion and the planning on the West Villages Town Center continues, we expect even more interest in living in this vibrant area.”

West Villages Florida is comprised of more than 15,000 acres. It is located between the City of Venice and the City of North Port. The community is being developed by a partnership that includes Mattamy Homes and Vanguard Land.
