Museum names new director of development

Mark Terman was executive director of principal gifts for 19 years at Michigan State University.

SARASOTA — The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art has named Mark Terman its senior director of development.

Terman has more than 30 years of development experience, according to a press release. He served as executive director of principal gifts for 19 years at Michigan State University, where he worked most recently with leadership on the university’s successful $1.8 billion campaign. He was also the lead fundraiser on the Eli & Edythe Broad Art Museum at MSU, which opened in 2012.
