General contractor hires new lead attorney from major national firm

Christian Young leaves Suffolk to join DeAngelis Diamond as general counsel. He will oversee all aspects of company’s legal department.

NAPLES — DeAngelis Diamond has named veteran construction industry attorney Christian Young as general counsel. He joins the Naples-based general contractor after working with national contractor Suffolk, where he served as assistant general counsel.

Young will advise on all negotiations for construction management, program management, design-build, IPD, subcontractor and all other agreements; as well as collaborate with operations, risk management and talent teams to identify risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
