Attorney named to judicial committee

Attorney L. David Sims will serve as a member of the 20th Judicial Circuit's Grievance Committee.

FORT MYERS — Attorney L. David Sims of Fort Myers-based law firm Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt PA was elected to the 20th Judicial Circuit's Grievance Committee. 

The committee reviews complaints against lawyers licensed by The Florida Bar, investigates the allegations and decides whether there is probable cause to believe a lawyer violated professional conduct rules and whether discipline is warranted.
