Landscape company names general manager

VENICE — Venice-based landscape company ArtisTree Landscape Maintenance and Design promoted Joe Mantkowski to general manager of the landscape division.

Mantkowski joined ArtisTree in 2004, according to a press release. In his new role, he will oversee day-to-day activities of the landscape division. He will work closely with designers to expand their account bases and improve operational systems. He will also be involved in all managerial aspects, including operations, purchasing, scheduling and customer relations.

Previously Mantkowski worked at his father's landscape design and nursery business.
