Waterfront home sold for $9M

SARASOTA — Sarasota-based real estate firm Michael Saunders & Co. announced the $9 million sale of a Gulf-front estate in Sanderling Club on Siesta Key, the highest residential sale of 2017 in the area.

The 9,383-square-foot house at 7858 Sanderling Road is on two acres. It overlooks a lagoon.

Since 2013, three of the top five sales in Sarasota County have been on Siesta Key, according to a press release. The highest-priced sale during the four-year period was also a Sanderling property, which sold for more than $11.8 million.
