Fraud, Ponzi scheme expert promoted to partner at firm

FORT MYERS — McHale P.A., an accounting firm that specializes in forensic accounting, receiverships, litigation support and bankruptcies, named Veronica Larriva partner in the firm.

A CPA, Larriva began working for Jerry McHale in 2008, according to a statement. She has ten years' experience in specialized forensic accounting, litigation support and bankruptcy analysis, focusing on damages analysis, fraud investigation and detection, embezzlement analysis and Ponzi schemes, the release adds.

In January, Larriva received the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants' Horizon Award, presented to the brightest young CPAs statewide. McHale P.A is based in Fort Myers.
