Community hires medical director

SARASOTA — Pines of Sarasota Rehabilitation and Senior Care Community hired Dr. Charles Stewart as medical director of rehabilitative services programs.

Stewart has medical appointments and admitting privileges at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Doctors Hospital of Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, Intercoastal Medical Group Ambulatory Surgical Center, Advanced Surgery Center and Doctor's SameDay Surgical Center, according to a press release.

His focus in his practice is performing complex reconstruction to maximize short-term and long-term function. He is a board certified, Johns Hopkins fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon.
