Insurance firm expands its reach

SARASOTA — CBIZ Insurance Services Inc. acquired the commercial insurance book of business from Alliance Insurance.

According to a press release, the acquisition makes CBIZ the largest underwriter of community associations in the region.

CBIZ also added Alliance Insurance's vice president of sales, James Cirillo Jr., as a business partner in the firm's Sarasota office. Cirillo has experience in community associations, hospitality and private clients.
