Construction veteran joins firm as principal

SARASOTA — Gates Construction, a general contracting firm with offices in Bonita Springs and Sarasota, hired Mark Card as principal of the Sarasota office.

According to a press release, Card has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, much of it in Sarasota and surrounding counties. Before joining Gates Construction, Card owned and operated Sarasota-based general contracting and construction management firm Storie Construction Group.

Storie Construction Group personnel and resources will become part of Gates Construction. Card now oversees and supports client relationships for Gates.
