Insurance firm names new president, CEO

LAKEWOOD RANCH — Nan Brunson has been named President and CEO of Gulfstream Property & Casualty Insurance Co.

Brunson was also named president and CEO of Catawba Insurance Co., according to a release. The position was announced by the Seibels Bruce Group, an insurance industry business process outsourcing firm. Gulfstream, based in a Lakewood Ranch corporate park, is an affiliate and business process outsourcing client of Seibels, and Catawba is a wholly owned subsidiary of Seibels, the release adds.

Brunson had been vice president of business development at Seibels and interim President and CEO of Gulfstream.
