Real estate giant names new executive

SARASOTA — Sarasota-based real estate brokerage firm Michael Saunders & Co. named Peter McGarry the company's chief business development officer.

McGarry directs agent development and training; relocation services and lead procurement and management initiatives. According to a press release, he will work with the company's sales, marketing, relocation, technology and core services divisions. He will work from Michael Saunders' downtown Sarasota office at 1801 Main St.

McGarry has more than 28 years of real estate services. Most recently, he was chief operating officer of Wilkinson ERA Real Estate in Charlotte, N.C.
