Homebuilder closes out 2016 with $30M in land deals

MANATEE COUNTY — Medallion Home, one of the largest privately owned homebuilders in the region, ended 2016 with a surge in land acquisitions.

The company closed on more than $30 million in land purchases in the last 10 days of the year, according to a statement. The acquisitions will expand the Manatee County-based company's inventory by at least 1,000 home sites, the release adds, with a combination of ready to build and ready to develop sites.

"We are confident in the future of residential real estate, and the Gulf Coast will continue to be a sought out location for discerning buyers throughout our country,” Medallion Home CEO Carlos Beruff says in the statement.
