The trophies keep piling up for mother-daughter auctioneer duo Beth Rose and Sara Rose Bytnar.

The latest: Naples resident Rose Bytnar recently won the Women's National Auctioneers Association 30th Annual International Auctioneer Championship, held in Columbus, Ohio. Last year's winner, of the same event, was Beth Rose, who edged her daughter by one-tenth of point.

This year's championship started with 20 people. There was a preliminary bid-calling round, an interview round and a final round of bid-calling that included seven women. Rose Bytnar, 31, received a $5,000 cash award, trophy and championship ring. As part of her responsibilities as auction champion, Rose Bytnar will travel to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis later this year to conduct the annual NAA Toy Auction for patients and their siblings.
