National builder buys up Manatee home sites

ELLENTON — The Sarasota-Manatee division of M/I Homes purchased 47 single-family home sites in a gated community in north Manatee County.

Terms of the purchase weren't disclosed.

The M/I Homes unit bought the sites in Bougainvillea Place, a 107-home site community at 2602 East 61st Ave., Ellenton. It's the first land purchase for the recently established division, and will include the revitalization and completion of the maintenance-free neighborhood, according to a release.
