Tampa real estate firm targets national expansion

Commercial real estate firm Franklin Street promoted Greg Matus to senior vice president of investment sales.

Matus, according to a release, will now focus specifically on growing the company's investment sales division on a national basis. He hopes to double the company's national investment sales team by the end of 2017, the release adds.

Matus joined Tampa-based Franklin Street in 2014, tasked with growing its South Florida market. He has since tripled the number of employees in the Miami and Broward offices combined, and overseen the closing of millions of dollars in real estate transactions, the firm says in the statement. Matus will remain regional managing partner-South Florida until a replacement is found.
