Homebuilder posts 21% monthly sales increase

LAKEWOOD RANCH — Neal Communities, a Lakewood Ranch-based homebuilder, sold 103 new homes in February.

The sales mark a 21% month-over-month increase for Neal, which sold in 85 new homes in January, according to a statement. The sales took place in communities spanning from Hillsborough to Collier counties.

“We definitely experienced a slower January in terms of homes sales and a noticeable uptick in February, but traffic remained steady throughout the first two months of the year,” says Michael Story, president of Neal Communities, in the statement.
