Insurance firm names CFO

NAPLES — Lutgert Insurance named former bank finance chief Derrick Ayers chief financial officer.

Prior to joining Lutgert, Ayers was the regional chief financial officer for Fifth Third Bank in South Florida. Ayers also has previous finance and accounting experience with public and private companies, as controller of a construction company and as an audit team member with Ernst & Young in Louisville, Ky.
