Homebuilder nearly hits 100 sales in June

LAKEWOOD RANCH — Lakewood Ranch-based homebuilder Neal Communities had another strong month in June with 99 total home sales.

Those sales were split across the company's North, South and Neal Signature Homes divisions, a statement says. The North division closed 71 sales in the month, the South division closed 23 and Neal Signature Homes closed five.

“Last month was a trying time with the Brexit shock and the uncertainty surrounding its effect on the U.S. economy,” says Neal Communities President Michael Storey. “Thankfully, the national hiring boost and up-trending markets helped calm those fears.”
