Accounting firm adds three new partners

SARASOTA — Kerkering, Barberio & Co., a Sarasota-based public accounting firm, promoted three current managers to shareholders, according to a statement.

These are the three new partners of the firm:
• Brian Leidel, who specializes in business and financial planning and tax preparation;
• Phoebe Trumpler, who works in tax preparation and consulting with an emphasis on international tax; and
• Heather Williams, who practices individual, estate and trust taxation and consulting.

Founded in 1972, Kerkering, Barberio & Co. is one of the largest independent public accounting firms in the region. Its three offices are in Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch and Tampa.
