Large credit union expands along Gulf Coast

Florida's largest credit union will get even larger this week.

On Feb. 26, Tampa-based Suncoast Credit Union will open its first branch in the city of Sarasota, according to a statement.

The new branch, located at 4402 Bee Ridge Road, is Suncoast's second in Sarasota County. Its other Sarasota County location is in North Port.
