Wisconsin firm to add 300 jobs in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS — Wisconsin-based Alta Resources, a customer-management outsourcing company, plans to hire 300 additional employees in Fort Myers in the next 60 days.

To find candidates to fill the positions, Alta will be holding a job fair at its Fort Myers office, located at 12451 Gateway Blvd., on Tuesday, Aug. 16, a statement says. Alta is looking for seasonal full- and part-time candidates to work in customer care and licensed sales.

“There is a natural seasonality in the health insurance business that will mean yearly ramp-up periods for open enrollment,” Paul Makurat, Alta's Fort Myers managing director, says in the statement. The company currently has 348 employees in Fort Myers, many of whom joined as seasonal staff.
