Lender leads the way in SBA

SARASOTA — Insignia Bank leads all community lenders based in Sarasota and Manatee counties in total dollar amount of SBA loans so far in 2015.

The Sarasota-based bank also ranks in the top 35% statewide for SBA lending, according to a statement.

“We continue to see opportunities in the market for SBA loans,” says Insignia Bank chairman and CEO Charles Brown in the statement. “Where other banks have become concentrated with certain types of real estate loans and are pulling back, Insignia Bank, with the use of the SBA Program and its strong capital, continues to lend.”
