Atlanta firm buys regional pharmacy leader

PORT CHARLOTTE — Atlanta-based Guardian Pharmacy, one of the largest long-term care pharmacies in the country, acquired Patient Care Pharmacy Services in Charlotte County, which provides medicines for assisted living communities from Naples to Sarasota.
