Builders Exchange recognizes Stephen Sutter with Lifetime Achievement Award
Stephen Sutter, the chairman of Sarasota-based Sutter Roofing, received the 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Gulf Coast Builders Exchange. Sutter took over his father's business, Sutter Roofing, at the age of 28. The company now has five offices statewide, employs more than 275 people and generated $33.4 million in revenue last year.

Created in 1952, the Gulf Coast Builders Exchange works to promote and strengthen the relationships between construction industry trades and the development industry.

Naples property appraiser named Appraisal Institute chapter president
Michael Jonas of Naples was elected the 2015 president of the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. The chapter serves 36 Florida counties on the west coast of Florida from Pensacola to Naples.
