New hospital for super-sick ready to go

NAPLES — Stevens Construction completed the construction of a 50-bed hospital in Naples.

The facility, Landmark Hospital of Southwest Florida, is a long-term acute care hospital that cares for some of the sickest people. The average length of stay is 25 to 30 days.

The hospital, scheduled to begin accepting patients within a week, is at 1285 Creekside Blvd.

In addition to patient rooms, the 86,676-square-foot facility built by Fort Myers-based Stevens Construction hs operating rooms, x-ray and scanning rooms and administrative offices.
