South Tampa mansion on auction block

A dental practice administrator-turned-film producer is selling his house. And much like his quick transformation from teeth to Hollywood, he will do it dramatically.

Steve Matzkin will auction off his six-bedroom South Tampa mansion just off Bayshore Boulevard April 28. And one thing is for sure: As long as someone makes an offer, he'll sign away his home on a private 1.3-acre lot because this sale through Grand Estates Auction Co. has no minimum bid, and no reserve.

Matzkin bought the house at 5225 S. Nichol St. in 2002 for $3.1 million.
