Governor name Naples attorney to commission

NAPLES — Florida Gov. Rick Scott appointed Laird Lile to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Second District Court of Appeal for a four-year term.

Lile is an estate-planning attorney in Naples who is the past chair of the Florida Bar's 9,000-member real property, probate and trust law section. Lile's term on the commission started Aug. 29 and will end July 1, 2018.

In addition to being an elected member of the board of governors of the Florida Bar, Lile was appointed by the Florida Supreme Court to the Florida courts technology commission to oversee the technological overhaul of the state's courts.
