Hot real estate office notches $43M in sales

The first quarter in commercial real estate transactions was the continuation of a hot streak at Sperry Van Ness Commercial Advisory Group, with offices in downtown Bradenton and downtown Sarasota.

The latest accolade: The brokerage, with $43 million in closed transactions over the first three months of 2014, ranked third out of all Sperry Van Ness offices nationwide in total sales volume, according to a release. The Sperry Van Ness offices in Chicago and Farmington Hills, Mich. were the only ones ahead of Bradenton-Sarasota, the release adds. Sperry Van Ness operates more than 175 offices in 36 markets.

Sperry Van Ness Commercial Advisory Group has 17 agents who work the Sarasota-Bradenton market. The office ranked 10th in total sales volume company-wide in 2013, with around $74 million in transactions.
