Real estate firm expands to Marco

NAPLES — Residential real estate firm John R. Wood Properties says it has opened an office on Marco Island where it plans to employ 35 Realtors.

Longtime Marco Island Realtor George Percel has been hired to manage the new office. The 4,000-square-foot office includes a cyber cafe where agents can use the Internet for transactions.

“Obviously, we are excited to expand in this new market in a bold way,” said Phil Wood, president of the firm, in a statement.  “With George's experience, and our already high awareness on Marco Island, we anticipate substantial sales this year.”
