If you're caught on tony Fifth Avenue in Naples in your best suit without an umbrella, an unexpected summer rain shower can ruin your day.

To keep customers coming back to the street in steamy and wet summer days, the Fifth Avenue South Business Improvement District launched an umbrella program in conjunction with American Promotional Products and the Downtown Visitor Information Center.

Participating merchants in the area will have a ready supply of loaner umbrellas festooned with their company logo available for anyone caught by a sudden downpour.
