Landmark to build new hospital

NAPLES — Landmark Hospitals selected Stevens Construction to build a long-term, acute-care hospital in Naples.

The 86,676-square-foot, three-story hospital on Goodlette-Frank Road in Naples will specialize in wound care, rehabilitation and mechanical ventilation. The 50-bed hospital will also offer care for patients following strokes, surgery or cardiac events, according to Stevens Construction.

Construction is schedule to begin early next year and the architect on the project is HuntonBrady Architects. The state awarded Landmark Hospital of Southwest Florida its certificate of need to operate in February.
