Local CRE firm boasts top 10 ranking

SARASOTA — The Sarasota-Bradenton office of Sperry Van Ness Commercial Advisory Group has had a banner year in the first nine months of 2013.

The firm, for one, is ranked eighth in sales volume out of 175 Sperry Van Ness offices nationwide through the first three quarters of 2013, according to a release. “We are very pleased with our ranking,” Sperry Van Ness Commercial Advisory Group Managing Director Tony Veldkamp says in the statement. “And to put up the kind of numbers we have done this year, in a tertiary market like Bradenton and Sarasota, is a true testament to the terrific team we have assembled.” 

The firm also recently announced three of its agents were ranked among the top 20 in Florida and the top 100 of Sperry Van Ness agents nationwide in 2013 sales volume. Those agents are: Gail Bowden, third in Florida; Mike Migone, 14th in Florida; and Diane Lawson, 16th in Florida. Bowden, moreover, is ranked 11th among agents nationwide and is the only woman on the list of the top 25 across the country. Says Veldkamp: “These three do a great job completing very complex commercial real estate transactions throughout the state.”
