Parker named GM at WTTA-TV

TAMPA — Noreen Parker has been named the new general manager of WTTA-TV, according to a statement from Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. She previously was corporate director of news and digital media sales at Bright House Networks.

"Noreen brings strong sales leadership skills and television station management experience. We look forward to building on her digital media sales successes and
the many relationships she has developed during her years in the Tampa
market," says Steve Marks, chief operating officer of Sinclair's television group, in the release.

Parker says in the statement that she looks forward to building on the foundation of WTTA-TV (MY TV Tampa Bay) and broadening the station's level of viewer and customer engagement. She had been with Bright House since 2009. Earlier, she was president and chief operating officer of ReacTV Network/7.TV. She also has served as president and general manager of WTSP-TV in Tampa, according to Sinclair.
