PLANS, DESCRIPTION: A company led by owners of Tampa-based Buddy's Home Furnishings has purchased the company's industrial headquarters on Adamo Drive for $1.45 million.
The price equated to $33 per square foot. That figure is lower than the two-year average price per square foot for industrial space ($46) in the Tampa Bay area, according to the CoStar Group.
The 43,258-square-foot building occupies a 3.34-acre site.
A Thonotosassa company managed by Lois Slatton, who founded the company as Bi-Rite Appliances with her husband, previously owned the building.
Buddy's Home Furnishings declined to comment on the sale.
The purchase entity Grow RTO LLC mortgaged the property to Wells Fargo Bank NA for $6.32 million.
