Sabadell hires two executives

TAMPA — Sabadell United Bank, a lender headquartered in Miami, hired Lisa Millman-Nodal and Valarie Nussbaum-Harris at executive positions as part of the bank's Gulf Coast commercial banking expansion strategy, according to a news release.

Millman-Nodal and Nussbaum-Harris have worked in the Tampa Bay region since the late 1980s, and both will be given the title of vice president of commercial banking. Millman-Nodal most recently held a VP position at Synovus Bank in Tampa, and Nussbaum-Harris comes from HomeBanc NA where she also served as a vice president.

Sabadell has one branch each in Tampa and Sarasota and 24 locations throughout the state. It is the eighth-largest bank in the state with $3.5 billion in assets, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
