Sand Key shops sell for $9.1M

CLEARWATER — The Shoppes on Sand Key retail center, located at 1261 Gulf Blvd. in Clearwater, sold for $9.1 million, according to a news release.

Klein & Heuchan Inc. represented the seller, D.A. Bennett Co., in the sale of the 40,000-square-foot waterfront property. Mark Klein and Steven Klein handled the transaction. Boca Raton-based RNJ Sand Key LLC purchased the shopping center.

The center was 98% occupied at the time of the sale and is anchored by The Columbia Restaurant, Backwaters on Sand Key, and Dunkin' Donuts.
