Matrix Medical to add 150 jobs

CLEARWATER -- Matrix Medical Network will hire at least 150 employees from the Clearwater labor pool to staff a new 20,363-square-foot marketing center.

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Matrix Medical leased the space in the Bayview Pavilion office building in Clearwater this week, according to a release issued by Colliers International, which brokered the deal.

Employees at the new marketing center will focus on adding customers to Matrix Medical's service network. The company will begin receiving applications for positions in sales and customer service in April.

A partner with Medicare Advantage health plans, Matrix Medical sends nurse practitioners to members' homes to obtain health records required by Medicare and primary care doctors.

The lease increases the occupancy rate at Bayview Pavilion to 91%, Colliers says.
