SARASOTA -- G. Fried Flooring merged with Tampa-based Flooring America effective Jan. 1, a release issued Friday announced.
G. Fried President Rufus Ashby had at one time operated the Flooring America business, a release explains. “There was an opportunity to strengthen both businesses,” Ashby explains, “so we acted quickly and deliberately.”
Founded in 1930, G. Fried Flooring has operated in Sarasota since 1972.
