BOA supports Pasco's EDC

LUTZ -- Bank of America announced that it would support Pasco County's Economic Development Council with a $10,000 donation this week. The money will go towards the EDC's microloan fund.

Pasco EDC President John Hagen says his organization hopes to raise $250,000 in support of its microloan fund. To date, Pasco County commissioners have approved a $100,000 contribution to the fund, to go along with $50,000 raised by the EDC.

Hagen says the fund is on track to begin supporting local small businesses by the beginning of March.
