Kudos for sticking up for your editorials

Dear Editor:

Kudos for sticking up for your editorials on the president's “You didn't build that” statement. Stating that he was referring to roads actually comes across as unintelligent, as opposed to admitting he's anti-capitalist. I think that is so basic it is embarrassing, why even mention that?

I personally believe he could have claimed to be speaking in terms of us all needing each other as a community. Owners, employees, family, customers, etc. If I was his advisor, I would have recommended that response, I can't believe they missed that easy out.
