Michael Saunders hires new CFO

SARASOTA — Regional real estate brokerage Michael Saunders & Co. has named Eric Resker as its new chief financial officer, it announced in a news release.

Most recently, Resker was senior vice president of financial operations and revenue management for AIMCO, a real estate investment trust. In 2009, Sarasota County appointed him to the 10-member Budget Oversight Committee to review the county's 2010 budget.

Resker, who holds an M.B.A. in accounting and finance from Fordham University, will handle all of the company's financial operations.
