Tampa firm to build tablet PC?

TAMPA — On the Move Systems Corp. is working to develop a partnership with Noitavonne Inc. that would yield a new entrant into the tablet PC market sector.

Noitavonne has already begun developing a device called the Noitavonne Loop. Lael Alexander, the Texas-based technology firm's CEO, says the device will be price-competitive with Apple's iPad, and that product launch will take place within the third quarter of 2011.

Based in Tampa, On the Move Systems is a company in flux. Earlier this month, Patrick Brown joined the company as its newest CEO, following the resignation of Chet Gutowski. Shares of On the Move stock (symbol: OMVS) have been trading at roughly $2 a share since July.
